
Film Covered Wire
Film covered wire is a kind of electromagnetic wire made by covering the surface of traditional enameled wire with one or more layers of high-performance insulating film.

Features and Advantages:
For high-end, high-temperature, and high-voltage applications: Polyimide series (PI-F46, corona-resistant, and mica tape) are the preferred choice.
Strengthening cost-effectiveness and flexibility: Non-woven polyester film-wrapped wire offers the best value.
For extreme operating conditions: Polyimide film-wrapped wire is suitable for the most demanding military and aerospace applications.

Packing for Fiberglass Covered Wire
Labels shall be attached to each packaging unit as agreed between supplier and user and shall include the following information:
a) manufacturer’s name and/or trade mark;
b) type of wire and insulation, for instance trade name and/or IEC specification number;
C) net mass of wire;
d) nominal dimension(s) of wire and grade of insulation;
e) date of manufacture.
